Toiling in my own nature, to answer the question.
I sleep, I slumber, I feel no remorse.
There I lay in myself, letting my soul bleed.
The wound grows ever more, seeking no healing.
To seal the wound, I must undo what I have become.
There lies the future, and I must be forgiven of sins past.
Asking to be forgiven I must seek those I have wronged.
I ask forgiveness, hoping that it shall be given.
